Truffle cheese and honey crostini

Got myself some truffle cheese, and it is honestly SO GOOD. This is your sign to get yourself a block of truffle cheese, and eat it in one go.
Make this your go-to dinner party snack, which is super easy, and impressive.

Recipe, makes 5-6 crostini;

1/3 large baguette (mine was sourdough)
1/3 block of vegan truffle cheese
1 clove black garlic, peeled
Olive oil
Crushed nuts (I used salted pistachios)
Honey

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C

  2. Slice your baguette so you have 5-6 1.5cm slices

  3. Lay the bread out on a baking sheet and cook in the oven for 10 mins or until crunchy

  4. Slice your truffle cheese into 10-12 wedges (2 per slice of bread)

  5. When the bread is out the oven, rub some of your black garlic over each slice

  6. Drizzle each slice with olive oil, top with the cheese wedges, the crushed nuts and honey

  7. Serve as a starter, light lunch or a snack

Notes + Variations:

You can make these vegan using vegan truffle cheese, and agave syrup (which I often generally prefer to honey anyway).
