Molten Nutella mug cake

A chocolate molten mug cake in less than 15 mins, for an easy post dinner snack. You could even make this in a big batch as a sharer in a group.

Recipe

1 tbsp hazelnut spread
1 egg
1 tbsp plain flour
1 tbsp almond flour
1 tsp hazelnut spread for the middle

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C

  2. Mix everything together in a bowl, then pour into a small ovenproof dish. Place 1 tsp more hazelnut spread in the centre, making sure the cake batter covers it.

  3. Bake for 12 ish mins, or until the top is baked, and not squishy.

  4. Dust with icing sugar and serve

Notes + Variations:

You could try subbing this for biscoff too, if that’s more you.
