Hazelnut biscuits

Some of the best biscuits I’ve ever made. They're super crispy, sweet, and would honestly even make a perfect granola, or yogurt bowl topper.
I also made these as mini versions, which you could have as cereal.

Recipe, makes 4-6;

4 heaped tbsp oats, ground to a flour
3 tbsp hazelnut butter or smooth nut butter of choice
2 tbsp agave or syrup of choice
30g vanilla protein powder (or 2 more tbsp oat flour and 1 tsp sugar)
Salt
3 pieces chocolate, cut into small pieces (I used hazelnut chocolate)
Sprinkle bicarbonate of soda

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C

  2. Blend 2 cups of oats until they look like flour, or use pre-bought oat flour

  3. Mix everything together, until it resembles cookie dough, then add the chopped chocolate or chocolate chips.

  4. Roll into balls, then press down and bake for 10 minutes.

  5. Leave to cool and keep in an air tight container for up to 2 weeks.

Notes + Variations:

You can use vegan or whey protein in these, if you have it. If not, no stress - just sub for oat flour :P.
