Avocado toast with cream cheese + honey

Something to make for a super easy, quick, healthy breakfast. My favourite vegan cream cheeses make this plant based, and you can sub the honey for any syrup you like.

This takes about 5 minutes to whip up.

Recipe: makes 1 piece;

Piece of sourdough
1/2 avocado
1 tbsp cream cheese
Honey
Chilli flakes
Sea salt

Method

  1. Toast your bread, then slather over some cream cheese.

  2. Top with 1/2 sliced avocado, then with honey and chilli flakes.

  3. Finish with some maldon salt.

Variations:

Add some crunchy seeds/ nuts - I also love hemp hearts.

Add an egg or some roasted tofu for some extra protein.

Use a different syrup - I love agave, maple syrup and honey.
